Ian Schumpert entered the benefits industry in 2009 after seeking a career change. He began selling door to door and eventually knocked on a door that lead him to join Colonial Life. As a representative of Colonial Life in its Public-Sector field operations, his experience has spanned benefit counseling, business development and coordination of accounts sales/servicing. Ian continues his focus in the Public Sector as an Implementation Manager for e3, bringing a keen attention to detail and commitment to proficient benefit communications.
Ian holds an A.S. in Business Administration from Sinclair Community College, B.S. in Business Administration from Newberry College, and a M. of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore. He is a lifetime member of Sigma Iota Epsilon National Honorary and Professional Management Fraternity. He enjoys traveling, reading, and fitness cross training through running, martial arts, & calisthenics. Ian is a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Newberry, SC, where he resides.
